December 22, 2009

Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LSDo you believe in research work before you buy any expensive thing? I do it. I did a lot of research reading about every minute aspect before I planned to buy Spark. I also read a number of reviews; most buyers’ comments carried both positive and negative views but the positive weighed more. The test drive experience was highly exhilarating! I was stunned at the ergonomically advanced controls and dashboard positioned at the centre, easily viewable by all passengers. The practical storage spaces and spacious seating arrangements are just wow leave aside its compact body dimensions! My cousin went along with me for the test drive and he was attracted by the stylish exteriors, comfy interiors and other features and even he is all set to buy the Spark.

There were six models of the Spark in the Chevrolet showroom – Chevrolet Spark 1.0, Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LS, Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LT, Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LT Option Pack w/ Airbag, Chevrolet Spark 1.0 PS, Chevrolet Spark Muzic 1.0 LS with price ranging from Rs. 319,892 to Rs. 424,353. Every Spark comes with 3 years or 100,000 km of warranty. I opted to test drive the Chevrolet Spark 1.0 LS; the ex-showroom price in Delhi for this model stands at Rs. 3,32,154. Given the engine displacement at 995 cc, maximum power of 63 @ 5,400 (PS@rpm) and mileage ranging from 12 km to 16 km per litre on city roads and highways, I finally decided to buy Spark.

Chevrolet Spark

I am a very jolly natured person and like to have things in life that match my temperament. So, when I decided to buy a car, it had to be Chevrolet spark 1.0 LS muzic model. What I liked the most is the compact size of the car, which enabled me to park it in any amount of space. It is because I hate to wait for parking and don’t like to search for the appropriate space. The driving in the city is extremely comfortable due to the compact size, agility, and easy handling functions of the car.

There are hooks in the car to hang shopping bags, bottle and card holders, a sunglass case, and drawers under the front seats. As I am a shopping spree and love to shop, the facility of hooks in the car was quite a welcome feature by me. Along with this, high roofline for spacious headroom, energy absorption hexagonal profile and light weight steel body were the add-ons that acted as attention grabbers. Even the spark car price was apt as per my budget, making it a complete car.
